Welcome to the Wild Land Journal

There's something about being in the wild that stirs something up inside of us. It's always there, nagging at you when you've been away for too long. The first cast on a calm, cool spring morning. Or the way it feels watching a rutted-up buck chase a doe through a creek bottom in mid-November. It feels good just to be there. To get away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world and reconnect with nature. These moments stick with us. They call us back time and time again.

The Wild Land Journal is going to be our way of keeping up with those moments and sharing them with you. Stories of hunts, fishing trips, backcountry adventures along with reviews of gear we actually use and trust. History matters—we will cover that and current issues that could affect the future of our heritage and wild places.

So we hope you'll stick around and follow along. Maybe you'll find a story that gets you fired up to grab your gear and hit the woods or water. Our land has plenty of stories left and we're here to tell them.
